Dorothy Jean Guild, age 90, a resident of Lombard, IL, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Lexington Health Care Center in Lombard, IL. She was born March 27, 1924 in Wheaton, IL.

Ms. Guild retired in 1982 from Allstate Insurance Company where she worked for 37 years. She was a highly skilled bowler and journeyed throughout the country successfully competing in many tournaments. Ms. Guild loved to travel and visited all fifty states and numerous foreign countries. She was an avid golfer and bingo player, but her greatest joy was spending summers at her cottage, "the Alibi", in Saugatuck, MI.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Burt and Robert Guild; and her sisters, Elinor Guild, Miriam Shaw, and Lucille Nelson; and her dear friend, Nancy Hampton.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at Wheaton Cemetery.
