Obituary
Doris Wood, age 76, a resident of Wheaton for 35 years, died Monday, December 19 at Sunrise Senior Living in Naperville. She was born on February 8, 1929 to Eugenie and Vincent Cleban.
Doris graduated from Taft High School and attended Purdue University. She was employed by Illinois Bell in Operator Services in Lombard and RC Mac in Wheaton for over 20 years
She is survived by her husband for nearly 13 years, Richard, five children Georgia (Ed) Long, Marion (Steve) Smrecek, Melinda (Robert) Rosebraugh, Phillip (Lisa) Hass and Todd (Kathy) Hass, two step-children, Virginia (Garry) Ward and Laura Wood (Joe Pires), and 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Corrine Donkers of ArlingtonHeights.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Hass and her parents.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 11:00 A.M. at Naperville Evangelical Covenant Church, 1150 Hobson Rd. (at Naper Blvd.), Naperville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Esse Adult Day Care, 515 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187
