Obituary
Doris L.Olsen, age 96, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died April 11 at Wynscape Healthcare Center in Wheaton. She was born Oct 17, 1909 in Rushville, IL.
She was a graduate of DePauw University where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority for 77 years. She has been a member of Gary Memorial United Methodist Church since 1953 where she sang in the church choir for over 19 years. For many years she worked in the church's Wesley Resale Shoppe. She was a past member of the Woman's Department Club of Wheaton.
Doris is survived by her two sons, Sheldon (Joyce) Olsen Jr. and Darrell (Carol) Olsen, five grandchildren, Karen Olsen, Holly (Robert) Kraus, Scott Olsen, Beth (Russ) Millin, Charles Olsen and sevenreat-grandchildren, Kyle Handley, Trenton, Jessica, and Hannah, Olsen, Ben and Ashley Millin.
Preceded in death by her husband Sheldon R Olsen Sr., her brother Lt. Commander Charles Harold Lawler, who was killed during W.W.II, and great-granddaughter, Taylor Olsen Handley.
Burial Friday 4/14 10:00 AM at Mt. Emblem in Elmhurst.

A Memorial service will be held at Hultgren Funernal Home 304 N. Main St Wheaton, Sat April 22 2006 at 2:00 PM. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Don Leo and Rev Ed Taveirne.
