Donna J. Turner, age 84, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. She was born April 3, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Morris and Dorothy Coburn.

Donna was a loving wife and mother. When she wasn't taking care of her large family, she was pursuing one of her several interests. She loved to garden, spending a lot of time attending to her many house - and outdoor plants. She was fond of looking after the numerous cats she had over the years. She baked great pies and liked puzzles, especially crosswords. And win or lose, she enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs play. As a longtime member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church, her faith was also very important to her.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Virgil; eight children, Thomas (Kristin) Turner of Murphy, TX, Susan (George) Brouwer of Winfield, IL, Barbara (Gary) Krause of Warrenville, IL, Mary Frost of Elburn, IL, Laura (Fred) Gosbeth of Carol Stream, IL, Steven (Linda) Turner of Glen Ellyn, Michael Turner of Aurora, IL and Robert (Liberty) Turner of Aurora, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Thomas (Jackie) Coburn of Arizona; and her son-in-law, Allen McCauley of Woodridge, IL.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie McCauley; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Loosli; and her sister, Judy Lloyd.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Prayers will be said at the funeral home the next morning, on Wednesday, April 17, at 9:15 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church , 310 S. Wheaton Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
