Donna L. Plett, age 77, a resident of Wauconda, IL, and formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL and Maywood, IL, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born March 27, 1937 in Melrose Park, IL.

Donna was raised in Melrose Park, IL and Maywood, IL and graduated from Proviso East High School. She raised her five children in Glen Ellyn, IL. When her children graduated, she moved to Bradenton, FL to help take care of her mother. She worked at Tropicana and was a mail carrier while she lived in Florida. At the start of her retirement, she moved to Paducah, KY. Several years later, she decided to return to Illinois to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a very happy, fun loving person that enjoyed life. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing games, and just spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her five children, Robert (Patricia) Hooser of St. Charles, IL, Steven (Olesya) Hooser of Geneva, IL, Dawn (Andrew Bos) Hooser of Plainfield, IL, Mari Plett of Bradenton, FL, Todd Plett of Wheaton, IL; seven grandchildren, Nichole, Valerie, Kelli, Amber, Tyler, Kristina and Skyler; her brother, Joseph Jobelius; her niece, Jennifer; and her nephew, Joseph.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Jobelius; and her sister, MaryJane Ebelt.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the family.
