Donna R. Fahrforth, age 56 of West Chicago, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 after a battle with cancer.

Donna Rae was born November 16, 1964 in Sterling IL, the youngest daughter to Bill and Rita Heaton. She grew up in Sterling, Illinois and graduated from Sterling High School in 1982. After high school she moved to Colorado. After returning to Illinois, she worked as a stay at home mother and as a day-care provider. Recently, she has been the dispatcher for First Student. On March 13, 2009 she married her loving and caring husband George Fahrforth, who has been her rock.

Donna served the church by helping with the AWANA's ministry. She enjoyed cooking and the outdoors, biking, walking, gardening and laying in the sun. Most of all, Donna loved her two boys and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their sporting events. She cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, George, and sons, Michael Brian (Leah) Ebbert of Caledonia Michigan and Eric Tyler (Angie) Ebbert of Wheaton Illinois and two step-children, Keith (Chrissy) Fahrforth and Michelle (Sean) Garrett, step-grandchildren, Quinn and Finley, her brother, Dr. Wilson (Marge) Heaton, her sisters, Linda (Mark) Ittersagen, Diana (Scott) Maupin and her twin sister, Debbie (Kevin) Gray, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29. Due to COVID 19 social distancing restrictions, occupancy is limited and you may be asked to wait until others leave.
