Donna M. Cobb, age 62, of Chicago, IL, died Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born February 6, 1955 in Chicago, IL.
Donna had a generous heart and a beautiful soul, and willingly gave everything she had to others. She loved her family fiercely and unconditionally (especially her beloved "Boo-Boos"), and made friends easily with her infectious smile and outgoing personality. While Donna faced many challenges in her life, she never ceased to exhibit boundless optimism, strength, courage, and an incredible zest for life. She was a truly compassionate human being, and was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on.
She is survived by her daughter, Holly (Todd) Jacobson of Wheaton, IL; her grandson, Alexander ("Boo-Boos") Jacobson; her brother, Dennis Cobb; her sister-in-law, Janet Burke; her nephew, Anton (Jessica) Cobb; and her niece, Kate (Kevin Bigley) Cobb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Susanna Cobb; and her brother, Frederick Cobb.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of a memorial Mass to be held at 11:00 a.m. at
St. Irene Catholic Church
