Donald H. Smith, 92, of Wheaton, IL, died February 27, 2015 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born August 14, 1922 in Cambria, MI to the late John and Selma (Bryan) Smith. He was married to his wife Marion for 43 years, who preceded him in death on February 26, 2011.

Donald is survived by his sister Elaine Olis and brother Leon Smith of South Bend, IN, along with several nieces and nephews.

Donald served honorably in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He retired from AT&T after 45 years of service. He was a life member of the Photographic Society of America where he and his wife co-chaired the Technique Division many times. He was an active member of the Central DuPage Camera Club and the Chicago Stereo Club where he and his wife received a medal from the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired for fundraising efforts. He and his wife had judged many international photography competitions.

The Hultgren Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, MI.
