Donald R. Cort's Obituary
Donald Raymond Cort, 82, a resident of Carol Stream, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, January 17th, 2016.
He was born on July 23rd, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. Son of Joseph and Erna Cort.Don worked as a foreman in the Lithography Department at American Can, plus two other companies for 30 plus years.
He loved music, playing his organ, working on Gustav Becker Clocks from the 1800's and model trains.
Don is survived by his 4 children; Renee Annette Cort of IL, Donald Lee (Shirley) Cort of WI, Doreen May Worrell of IL, and Ronald Michael (Viviana) Cortamilia of FL; sister Pam (Marshall) Voet and 2 neices of MT; along with 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Bertha Hansen, his mother Erna, his father Joseph and one grandchild, Vincent Allen (Donald and Shirley Cort's son).
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Louis Dooley will be officiating with music by Rebecca Melendez. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 3800 N. Narragansett, Chicago, IL 60634
