Dolores C. Wolniak, age 79, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Windsor's Johnson Health Care Center. She was born December 6, 1929 in Chicago, IL.

Dolores was an artist who worked with both oil and water color paints. She was a craftswoman who contributed her skills to the community regularly. She enjoyed playing the piano and exploring other instruments.

She is survived by her niece, Edwina (John) Gabcik of Brevard, NC; her great-nephew, Joseph (Nik) Gabcik; and many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Miller; her second husband, Stanley Wolniak; and her sisters and brothers.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, from 9:30 A.M. until prayers are said at 10:30 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 421 Cochise Court, in Carol Stream, IL. Interment is private at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
