On February 4, 2005, Dieter peacefully passed to the next world at the age of 64 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was born to Maximilian and Erna on July 9, 1940 in Gleiwitz Germany. When he was 17-years of age, Dieter immigrated to Wheaton, Illinois. As a young man, he worked in the hospitality industry, golf courses, and factories. He found his niche when he started operating heavy equipment on demolition projects. He was an operator/partner with Julian Brothers Wrecking, then a superintendent/estimator with E&E Hauling, and Vice-President of American Environmental. In 1989, he founded American Demolition Corporation, which he remained president of until 2000. In 2002, he became a senior manager of U.S. Ecology in Knoxville, Tennessee. Besides work, Dieter enjoyed boating, walking, and swimming but most of all just being with family and friends. His family meant everything to him. Also, he was a huge Chicago Bears and University of Florida Gators Football fan. As a natural leader, he inspired people to become their best. He was a stranger to none and friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his father Maximilian, his mother Erna, and his sister Lori. Dieter is survived by his wife Priscilla, his sons Karsten (Kelli) and Klaus, his brother Uwe (Alwina), his sister Helga (Peter) Klar, his grandchildren Bailey and Aidan. In addition, he is survived by his friend, former-wife, and mother of his children Christina (Wilhelm) Brahm. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends in Germany, Canada, and United States.
