Diane E. Gleason, age 66, a resident of Roselle, Illinois, formerly of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.  She was born January 10, 1958 in Portland, Oregon to Jerry & Helene Gleason.

Diane grew up in Wheaton and attended Lowell Elementary, Franklin Junior High School and Wheaton Central High School. She graduated from College of DuPage with a degree in hospitality in 1992. Diane worked for American Eagle Airlines as a gate agent, stewardess, and traveled to many destinations. She moved to Florida in 2001 where she loved the ocean and watching the moon rise over the ocean. She returned to Illinois to be closer to her family in 2020. She adored celebrating life with her sisters, brothers, nieces & nephews. She loved to go to a party. Diane had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed scuba diving, riding scooters, and traveling the world with her father & siblings. She loved April Fools Day and was known for her spontaneous humor which was contagious. Her generosity was felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings: Sue (Dean) Mennecke, Mike (Von) Gleason, Patrick (Jeanette) Gleason, Peggy (Phil) O'Leary & Peter (Marcy) Gleason; her dear uncle Ed (Kathy) Gleason; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister Linda (Mick) McNeil.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024,  from  4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
