Dennis G. Stehlik, age 81, long time Wheaton resident, passed away on July 24th, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Chicago to George and Louise Stehlik, he grew up in Berwyn, graduated from the University of Illinois, and served as a Captain in the Marine Corps. Professionally, he had a passion for software sales, and after starting his career with IBM, he held executive, board of director, and investor positions with several independent software companies including Weiland Computer Group, Pansophic Systems, PCR (Professional Computer Resources), and Professional Data Solutions. A steadfast family man with boundless optimism, Dennis was our greatest supporter who instilled in us his values of hard work, honor, and education. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved sharing his passion for fishing, hunting, and golf with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Joann Mosetich Stehlik. He was a loving father of Michael, Karen (Sear), Dennis, and Cathy (Bilyk); a devoted grandpa to Rebecca, Nicholas, Joseph, Jonathan, Anna, Michael, Matthew, Brian, and Brianna. Brother to Gail (Joseph) Hanzlik and Michele (Jonathan) Eisele. Preceded in death by infant son Dennis George Stehlik Jr.

Services will be private. There will be a Catholic mass and celebration of his life at a later date.
