Dennis W. Jamieson's Obituary
Dennis W. Jamieson, age 82, a resident of Carol Stream, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 9, at home. He was born May 8, 1936 in Decorah, Iowa to Marlin and Martha Jamieson.
He was a Glen Ellyn police officer for 33 years earning the rank of Lieutenant. His was an active member of Kiwanis and Wheaton Drama. His hobbies included growing plants, raising birds, rabbits, fish and chinchillas. His favorite things to do were to go fishing and watching the Cubs. Watching the Cubs win the World Series was one of the happiest moments of his life.
He is survived by his wife Dolly, Brother Jerry and wife Susan, daughter Patti and husband Brian and daughters Megan and Rachel, son Tim, son Andy and his daughter Taylor and stepdaughter Debbie.
He is preceded in death by his son Robbie and daughter Lynn.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
