Denise F. Schreiber, age 96, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Travanse Living at Wheaton in Wheaton, IL. She was born April 7, 1922 in Paris, France.

Denise enjoyed traveling the world. She was the President of the French United States Exchange Club (FUSE) for many years until it dissolved. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed for many family members and friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her three children, Donna (Tom) Murphy of Florida, Mark Schreiber of Plano, IL and Michelle (Steve) Kudelas of Glendale Heights, IL; four grandchildren, Dana Murphy, and Alyssa Schreiber, and Brian (Mikie) Kudelas and Kyle Kudelas; four great-grandchildren, Donna, Liam, Robbie and Addison; and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; her son Brad; and her sister, Genevieve.

A visitation will be held prior to a service from 10:30 a.m. until the start of a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church , 310 S. Wheaton Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
