Dena F. Zimmerman's Obituary
Dena F Zimmerman, nee Pennell, age 84, a long time resident of Bloomingdale Twp. and a former resident of Villa Park, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at home. Mrs. Zimmerman was born on December 11, 1925 in Cross Plains, TX.
She was a Beautician and owned and operated Suzanne's Beauty Shop in Bellwood, IL.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Robert) Cox of Geneva, IL; a son, William (Judith) Zimmerman, Jr. of West Chicago, IL; two step-daughters, Dorothy (Donald) Kosmal of Addison, IL, and Roberta (James) Wojcik of Wheeling, IL; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her brother, James Venturi of Cleburne, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William T. Zimmerman, Sr.; and three sisters, Betty Glass, her twin Claudia Purpura, and Audra Koehler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, from 3-7 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jason Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lombard Assembly, 447 W North Ave, Lombard, IL 60148-1112.
