Debbie Little, age 51, a longtime resident of the Wheaton area, died at home on Tuesday, September 26, after a battle with cancer. She was born on August 5, 1955 to Bernard and Connie Gallimore.
Debbie was an active member of Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, where she was a deaconess. She was a hairdresser who worked out of her home for many years and who has recently managed salons at Belmont Village facilities in Carol Stream, Glenview, Oak Park and Buffalo Grove. She has worked with Mothers-in-Touch. Debbie was loved by all who knew her and was a great spiritual inspiration.
She is survived by three sons, Jacob, Matthew and Joseph, her mother, Connie Gallimore; one brother, Aaron (Sandy) Gallimore of West Chicago, and a sister, Wanda Gallimore of Naperville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was recently preceded in death by her father, Bernard W. "Bernie" Gallimore, and her sister, Linda Sue.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton with Rev. Bruce Love officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
