David Withall, age 78, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died March 4, 2023. He was born December 5, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois to William and Helene Withall.

David grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois and attended Hinsdale Central. He then attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and majored in Business and Economics. After he graduated college in 1966, he went to work for the Miner Institute in Chazy, New York. In 1967 he married Prudence Louise Sweet of Chazy, New York.

In 1970, they moved to Downers Grove, Illinois with their new son, Alex. David started working at Miner Enterprises that same year. In 1973 they had their second son Andrew. In 1979, David became president and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Miner Enterprises. In 1999, he became CEO, where he worked until his passing.

David enjoyed golfing and was a member at Chicago Golf Club and Glen Oak Country Club. He was an avid hunter and was a member of a hunting club. He and his wife enjoyed vacationing at their cottage in upstate New York and taking trips to Florida, Arizona and California with their sons.

He is survived by his wife, Prudence Withall of Wheaton, IL; two sons, Alex Withall, and Andrew Withall of St. Charles, IL; and grandchildren Rachael Withall of Geneva, IL, Anna Withall of St. Charles, IL, and William Withall, of Warrenville, IL; and brother Gary Withall of Wayne, IL.

David was preceded in death by his father William E. Withall and his mother Helene Withall.

A visitation will be held April 27, 2023, from 4:00p.m until 8:00p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00a.m. until the time of funeral service at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., West Chicago, on April 28, 2023, at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
