David Plowright passed away at home on February 21 after a long illness. He was 79 years old and had lived in that house since he was 16. David was a graduate of Wheaton College and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the tax department of Chicago Title and Trust for several decades until his retirement in 2003. David was preceded in death by his father, The Rev Grant Plowright and his mother, Robin W. Plowright. His grave is with theirs in Wheaton Cemetery, but his home is in Heaven. Having grown up immersed in the Christian faith, it was only in his latter years that David really learned to trust the Lord Jesus Christ. What a difference this made! His caregivers and friends showed great love and patience as his illness progressed.
