David J. Mincheski 63, a resident of Wheaton died MONDAY Oct. 11th in his home. He was born in Greenbay WI, July 21, 1941. He was a member of the Wheaton VFW, and served in the US. Navy in Vietnam. He was an avid Bears fan who also loved classic automobles, and was known for his great sense of humor. He was greatly loved as a proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Carol; his daughter Dawn (Joel) Stephen, his son Mark (Beth) Mincheski; his mother Esther Kerin: His brothers Ken (Shirley) Mincheski, Jack Mincheski, and his sister Diane (Ray) Trunzo and his grandchildren Ashley, Joshua, and Emma Stephen.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Mincheski.

A Funeral Mass will be held at at 10:00 A.M. Thursday Oct. 14th at St. James the Apostle Church, Park Blvd. and 22nd St. in Glen Ellyn. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park. Memorials can be directed to the Wheaton VFW 0N731 Papworth Wheaton, IL 60187
