David (Dave) Paul Enger, 52, born on August 18, 1972, in Park Ridge, IL, to Robert Enger and the late Carol Flansburg, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2025. Dave was a beloved father, brother, and uncle who touched the lives of many with his warm smile.

Dave had many hobbies and especially loved cars, spending his free time working on cars for himself, friends, and family. He was a master of all things mechanical and electrical and shared his passion for automobiles with his son, Ty, who is currently studying automotive technology in college. Dave also loved being outdoors, fishing, and riding snowmobiles. He was an avid fan of Chicago sports, particularly the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears. He enjoyed Mexican food, movies, and his dog, Lucy.

Dave is survived by his children, Molly and Tyler Enger, parent, Robert (Diane) Enger, brothers, Craig (Kathy) Enger, Darren (Laura) Enger, and Michael Schurmann, sister, Jill (Sean) Bates, his many nieces and nephews, and other friends and family that will miss him dearly.
