David A. Condon, age 61, of Glen Ellyn and formerly Wheaton, died January 30th after a long history of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. He was born in Yellow Springs, OH on May 19, 1946.
David was 1964 graduate of Wheaton Community High School and a 1968 graduate of Greenville College with a B.A. in Fine Arts. He worked as a graphic artist with Christian Service Brigade, Tyndale House Publishing and several other local companies. He was an avid collector of model trains who also loved music, photography, and staying connected with his friends through the internet. He was known by his pastor and friends as a faithful servant at Bridgeview Community Church. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Condon, his brothers Paul and Mark Condon; his nephew and niece Caleb and Ariana Condon: and great niece Arabella Condon.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Condon; aunts Barbara and Betty; and uncles Herb and Tom.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3 utnil 4 P.M. on Saturday, February 2 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street in Wheaton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Matthew Gruel officiating.
