Daniel L. Tews, age 77, of Naperville, IL, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born December 9, 1946 in Persia, IA to Rev. John & Irene Tews.
After graduating from Mason Community High School in 1964, Dan joined the Air National Guard where he served until 1970. He attended Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, IL and received a B.A. in secondary education in 1969. Daniel married Christine Albers on August 22, 1970. After retirement he spent his time taking wood-working classes, making and refurbishing furniture, and volunteering his time helping others.
