Daniel L.
Myer
January 3, 1953 – October 30, 2021
Rev. Daniel Lamar Myer, age 68, a resident of St. Charles, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was born January 3, 1953 in Leesburg, Florida.
He was a minister for over 50 years. He loved to preach, teach, and study the Bible for hours on end. He was a servant. He was quick to help anyone in need. He was a humble man who loved to laugh. He enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life that so often are taken for granted. He loved the sunset, birds chirping, and squirrels scurrying across the yard to name a few. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His hope and treasures were not built in this life. He often would sing, "This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through, my treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue." He would often say don't cry for me when I'm gone and don't say goodbye just, I'll see you later.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Joy; and his siblings, Harold Jr., Mary, Judith, and David.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Daniel and daughter Rebekah; daughter-in-law Gayla; grandchildren Nathaniel, Brooklyn, and Madeline; and siblings Martin, Thomas, Janet, and Jean.
