IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia L.
Robison
February 13, 1963 – July 18, 2025
Cynthia L. Robison, lovingly known as Cindy, passed away on July 18, 2025, with her cherished friends by her side. She was born on February 13, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to Nancy and Kenneth Robison. She grew up in Michigan and graduated from Eisenhower High School in Saginaw, Michigan and went on to earn a degree in Scientific and Technical Communications from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.
Cindy was a lifelong explorer at heart, with a deep passion for scuba diving that took her across the globe. Whether she was drifting through coral reefs in the South Pacific or swimming alongside gentle giants in the Middle East, she felt most alive beneath the waves. Of all her adventures, it was the waters of Belize that held the most special place in her heart.
She had a particular fondness for octopuses, believing them to be sentient, intelligent beings—as a matter of principle, she declined to eat them. Her respect for marine life and the ocean's mysteries shaped much of who she was and how she lived.
Professionally, Cindy was a gifted technical writer, known for her precision, clarity, and tireless dedication. Throughout her career, she brought structure and understanding to complex systems, earning the respect of colleagues in the Information Technology sector.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy; her father, Kenneth; and her sister, Beth. Her memory will live on in the stories shared by friends and family, in the oceans she so dearly loved, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
In accordance with her wishes, Cindy was laid to rest by Eternal Reefs in the Caribbean, returning to the sea that inspired and sustained her spirit.
She will be deeply missed.
