Cynthia Ringblom, age 92, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was born May 25, 1926 in Chicago to William and Aura Zimmerman, the fifth of seven children.
She grew up in Chicago and graduated from Waller-Lincoln Park High School. After the war she met Arthur Ringblom and they were married on March 26, 1949. She worked Continental National Bank until she had children. They raised their family in Wheaton where they members of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church. In recent years, she has been active at the Wheaton Bible Church.
She enjoyed being with family, spending time at the cabin and boating and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Andy) Michel of Winfield, four grandsons, Ryan Michel, Tyler (Erica) Michel, Kevin Michel and David Michel, and two sisters, Florence and Betty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, her daughter, Donna Fulmer, and four siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m until 11 a.m. Private interment will be held Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
