Cynthia Guild, 76, a former resident of Wheaton, died Wednesday, May 18 at the Tabor Hills Healthcare Center in Naperville. She was born in Geneva Hospital on June 11,1934.
She graduated from Wheaton High School in 1952 and started working for the
FBI in their Chicago office. She continued working in Chicago and a
suburban office until her retirement in 1987.
She moved back to Wheaton after the death of her mother and lived in the
family home with her father. She kept in touch with her FBI friends for
many years. Cici had a great love for animals and over the years, had many
dogs and multiple cats at a time. She enjoyed traveling, both in Europe and
on cruises. Tabor Hills Healthcare Center, Naperville, has been her home for the past 11 years.
Cici is survived by a brother, Scott (Landa) of Scottsdale, AZ and a nephew Stuart (Mindy Benjamin) of San Antonio,and a great niece and nephew. She has an aunt, Dorothy Guild, of Carol Stream and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Pauline Guild.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 23 at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where friends may visit from 10:00 until the service time. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.
