Obituary
Cynthia D. Fredrick, age 63, a resident of Wheaton for 20 years, died Wednesday, June 27, at Rest Haven in Downers Grove. She was born on May 13, 1944 in Crown Point, IN to William and Charlotte Barnett.
She graduated from University of Wisconsin in Madison and then received her Masters Degree from the University of Chicago. She worked as a social worker in St. Charles, where she met Ronald Fredrick, who she married in 1968. Together they had three children.
Cindy is survived by two children, Andrew and Jeanine Fredrick both of Naperville, her mother, Charlotte Barnett of Elmhurst, and two brothers, William and Dennis Barnett. She is also survived her mother-in-law, Ruth Fredrick of Lombard.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989, her father in 1990 and one son, Peter in 1985.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
Memorials may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 910 West Van Buren - Fourth Floor , Chicago, IL 60607.
