Curt A. Schultz, age 50, a resident of Wheaton, IL and Wilton, CT, died suddenly on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. He was born on July 18, 1958 in Chicago.
Curt graduated from Luther North High School in Chicago in 1976. He also graduated from Northwestern University and earned his JD from the University of California, Hastings School of Law. On May 30, 1982 he married Alison Fleck in Chicago. They lived in CA for 20 years, Surrey, England for 2 years and then moved to Wilton, CT in 2002, working for Citibank (25 years) until his most recent employment with Bank Hapoalim in New York. Curt also managed to study for and earn a law degree for practice in the United Kingdom and Wales as a Solicitor. Curt loved His Lord and Savior, was a devoted husband, and loving father. He supported non-profit organizations such as International Justice Mission and World Vision, and hoped to one day use his skills and talents in law for the betterment of others. For his wonderful sense of humor, intelligence and integrity, Curt will be greatly missed.
Curt is survived his wife Alison, two children, Ryne and Rachel, three siblings, Craig (Jeanne) Schultz of CA, Adrianne St. Clare (Allan) of CA, and Corinne Murphy (Sam) of WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Adelaide Schultz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., West Chicago, IL on Monday at 11 a.m.
