Cornelius (Con) J. O'Mahoney, age 81, a resident of Winfield, IL, passed away  on Monday, January 27, 2025.  He was born April 11, 1943 in Beloit, WI to Cornelius V. & Bernice O'Mahoney.

Con's love of family surpassed all of his other interests which included credit unions, fly fishing, Porsche club, reading and his knowledge of obscure facts about world history, world religions, cars, trains, etc. He recently travelled to London to see his granddaughter's highschool marching band march in London's New Year's Day Parade.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan; his children Melissa (Jason) Russell & Tara (Bill Reynolds) O'Mahoney; his grandchildren Maura & Teagan Russell and Liam, Declan & Delaney Reynolds; and his sister Mikel (the late Wayne) Pruitt. Also survived by beloved nieces & nephews Caitlin (Alex) Barrera, Joe (Emily) Pruitt, Jacob (Alice) Pruitt and many great nieces and nephews..

A celebration of life service will be held at Cooper's Corner, 27W150 Roosevelt Rd, Winfield, IL 60190, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
