Corinne M. Gregory, age 84, a longtime resident of the Wheaton area, died Sunday, April 26, at the Central DuPage Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1924 in Chicago to Eugene and Ethel Hartneck.

In 1945 Corinne married Ralph Gregory in Berwyn, while he was serving in the military during WWII. They moved to Wheaton in 1953 where she has been a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Stratford Striders and she enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph, four children, Kenneth (Jody) Gregory of Aloha, OR, Janice (Joe) Nesbitt of Wheaton, Diane Bottoms of St. Charles, and Ron (Jill) Gregory of Wheaton, 12 grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Joseph, Angelica, Daniel, Timothy, Aaron, Michelle, Jamie, Matthew, Krystle, and Cody and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin brother, Eugene Hartneck.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 A.M.Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
