Coral M. Helmer, age 57, a resident of Compton, IL, died Friday, August 3, 2018, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. She was born December 19, 1960 in Geneva, Illinois.

Coral was passionate about arts & crafts and also drawing. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Mendota, IL.

She is survived by mother, Carol Sharp and father Howard Sharp (Angie), husband, Rodolofo; six children, Rechelle Neamtu (Octavian) of Tuscola, IL, Rodd (Kristina) Helmer Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Randahl (Valerie) of Mendota, IL, Roanna Rosado of Compton, IL, Chloe (Jacob) Nelson of Princeton, IL and Caleb (Shelly) of Earlville, IL; nine grandchildren, Serenity, Desirae, Tavi, Xander, Joleacia, Ford, Ryan, L.J., and Payton; eight brothers and sisters, Robert (Mary), Jamie (David), Tammie (Brigette), Georgine, Debbie (Charles), Tim, Brandon and Adam (Heather); Nieces and nephews; Anthony (Amanda), Stacey & Lily (Rich), Kevin, Tiffani, Britney, and many, many more nieces & nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roger.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church , 505 7th Ave, Mendota, IL 61342. Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
