Constance S. Williams, age 84, a lifelong resident of Wheaton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was born to John Frazier and Nellie Jayne Snyder in Wheaton on February 9, 1931. She was a great-granddaughter of Jessie Wheaton; a founder of the community.

Connie grew up in Wheaton and graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1949. She attended Northwestern College for one year and married her childhood sweetheart Harry Williams, on June 24, 1950. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed a successful career as a registered nurse at Mercy Center in Aurora for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Williams; her children, Shawn (Dr. Linda) Williams of Barrington Hills, Tallya (Jim) Knippen of Wheaton and Kent (Andrea) Williams of Wheaton; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Errin) Pace, Christopher Williams, James (Elizabeth) Knippen, Kayla (Nick) Sullivan, Ebben Knippen, Tom Forberg, River Williams and Tara Williams; two great-grandchildren, Giada Sophia and Isabella Rosemary Pace; and many nieces and nephews. Her loyalty to her family was unbounded.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Jayne Damon, Virginia Taylor and John Frazier Snyder III, and two infants.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 with Dr. Jamie Geiger officiating. Private interment will be at Wheaton Cemetery.
