Constance "Connie" R. Gallimore, age 73, a resident of Oswego and formerly of Winfield and Hot Springs, Arkansas, died at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 15. She was born in Geneva on July 8, 1936 to Walter and Dorothy Richardt.

She graduated from Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn. She married Bernie Gallimore on Feb. 5, 1955 while he was in the Army. They raised their family in Winfield and she worked at Old North Pancake House until opening Connie's Restaurant in Wheaton. Later on they opened Family Pantry Stores in Geneva and Winfield. They retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Upon her husband's death in 2006 she moved to Oswego to be close to her family.

Connie is survived by two children, Aaron (Sandy) Gallimore of West Chicago, and Wanda Gallimore of Naperville; ten grandchildren, Jacob (Jessie), Matthew (Sandy), and Joseph(Jenny) Little, Lynne (John) Ayling, Carrie, Erin, Adam, and Megan Gallimore, and Scott Volpi and Michele Essig; four great-granddaughters, Katelyn, Cassandra and Kimberly Ayling and Allison Little; six siblings, Joyce (Alan) Stuart, Gordon Richardt, Audrey Redgate, Donald Richardt, David Richardt, and Diane (Glenn) Hencyk, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Linda Sue and Debbie Little; her parents, her sister, Carolyn Baum and brothers-in-law, Donald Redgate and Jerry Baum.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a service will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
