Colin C. Hansen, age 63, a resident of Winfield, passed away the morning of December 23, 2020, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 20, 1957, in Oak Park, IL. He is survived by his wife Denise (nee Wood) (married February 7, 1988), sister Phyllis Hansen, stepdaughter Stacy O'Connor, and countless true friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harley and Patricia Hansen-King, step-father Wayne King and many other loved family members and friends. Colin spent his childhood in Franklin Park, IL. He attended West Leyden High School, graduating in 1975, and later earned his Associate's Degree from College of DuPage in 2006. Colin was an avid bowler, motorcyclist, brew master and was a passionate supporter of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He was a wonderful husband, father, provider, protector, hard-worker, loyal friend and "gentle giant."
