Clyde A. Kautz, was born in Chicago IL, on April 13, 1928, and he went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was a 60 year resident of Wheaton, IL and of late was living with and being cared for by his daughter, Barb Petry in Plano, IL.

After working for the Borden Milk Company, Clyde was a residential real estate broker in the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, IL area for 20 years. He served on the DuPage County Board of Review for tax assessments and worked in the Vault and Teller Services areas at JP Morgan Chase Bank, in the downtown Wheaton Branch.

Clyde was very service oriented. He was an active member of College Church in Wheaton, the Wheaton Noon Lions Club and the local chapter of Gideons International. He held several leadership positions with the DuPage County Board of Realtors. He also served on the DuPage County TB board and for 25 years was part of the DuPage County Prayer Breakfast Committee.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam Kautz, nee Raedeke; his daughters, Carol Kautz and Barb (Paul) Petry; and his son, Ron (Lisa) Kautz. He is also survived by nine dearly loved grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Albert and Clara Kautz; his brother, Sergeant Edward Kautz; his sister, Dorothy Kautz Murphy; and his son, David Kautz.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st at 11:30 a.m. at College Church, 332 E. Seminary Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Interment was private at Eden Memorial Park in Schiller Park, IL.
