Clyde "Bill" Ballard's Obituary
Clyde "Bill" Ballard, age 76, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at Wynscape Nursing Center in Wheaton. He was born September 1, 1933 in Hamlet, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene; four children, Steve (Denise) Ballard of Mosinee, WI, Cheryl (Ron) Pilz of Carol Stream, IL, Diane (Michael) Jesch of Carol Stream, IL, and Paul Ballard of Wheaton, IL; eight grandchildren, Mike, Ben, Ron Jr. (Angi), Michael (Alma), Rebecca (Derek), and Bryan, and Alyssa, and Mikaylah; four great-grandchildren, Grant, Jacob, Dylan and Aubrey; and two brothers, Curt (Pam) and Harvey (Elizabeth) Ballard.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald; and his sister, Bonnie.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 13, at 1:30 P.M. at Faith Baptist Church, 27W010 Parkway Dr., Winfield, IL 60190. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the church.
