Clifford passed away on September 23rd at age 72, leaving behind a galaxy full of love and memories.

A lifelong Cubs fan, he knew the heartbreak and triumph of the North Side faithful—waiting patiently for the win that finally came in 2016, a moment he never stopped celebrating. He could tell a fish tale like no other. His final words captured the essence of who he was: "Let's rock and roll".

May he rest in peace with a fishing pole in one hand, a Cubs hat on his head, and the Force at his side.

He is survived by his wife, Donna LaPearl, daughters Jill LaPearl-Harrington and Mindy LaPearl; grandsons Michael Clifford Harrington and Eric Colburn Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Michele LaPearl, his Uncle Robert Mueller and cousin Catheryn Mueller.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton. Interment will be held privately.
