Clifford W. Kampe, age 52, a resident of Winfield, died Monday, July 31. He was born in Joliet, on August 10, 1953.
Cliff was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton where he was an usher and a member of the choir. He was known as a life long White Sox fan. Those who knew him remember him as a loving, husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie; daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Couture, Becky (fiancé Steven); his parents, Norman and Dorothy Kampe; his parents-in-law, Ray and Dolores Witte; his sisters, Darlene (James) Renken, and Linda Houtz; sister-in-law, Pat Sokacz; six nephews; one niece; and his brother-in-law, Bob Schulz.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Schulz.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 12:00 P.M. at St.John Lutheran Church, corner of Main and Seminary Streets, in Wheaton. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, in Matteson, IL.
