Clement Mohan
Dyer
May 10, 1950 – November 30, 2023
Clement Mohan Dyer, age 73, a resident of St. Charles, IL, passed away, peacefully at home on Thursday, November 30, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 10,1950, in Bombay, India to Charles and Lalia Ramani Dyer.
Clement grew up in India with his four siblings: Bill, Joyce, Henry and Ravi. He enjoyed music and spending time with his many cousins and friends playing soccer and cricket. He married his wife, Drisella, in April of 1986. In 1990, at the age of 40, Clement immigrated to the United States to provide a better life for his family. His wife and daughter, Ruth, later joined him in 1993 and welcomed their second daughter, Rachel, in 1995. He continued to work hard for his family until he became ill in February of 2022. Clement's passions included music, sports, and being the life of the party. He also loved spending time with his three grandchildren. He was a man of few words, but was known by most for his generous and kind spirit, hospitality and a great sense of humor. Clement attended Lombard Gospel Chapel. He loved his Lord and Savior and we rejoice that he is in His presence now.
Clement will be greatly missed and remembered at the wedding celebration of his second daughter, Rachel, to Matt D'Aquila on December 16, 2023.
Clement is survived by his wife of 37 years; Drisella, their two daughters: Ruth (Matt) Walters, Rachel (fiancé Matt D'Aquila); three grandchildren: Noah, Lalia, and Eli; his brother Bill (Brenda), sister Joyce and sister-in-law Esther; and his nephews and nieces: Santosh (Jenn), Sam (Stephanie), Bill Jr., Sharleen, Rebecca, Rosy, Dan and Roshini. He is preceded in death by his father Charles, mother Lalia, brothers Henry and Ravi and brother-in-law, Wilson David.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Lombard Gospel Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.
