Clay M. Sandoz, age 39, a resident of McHenry, died unexpectedly at home on October 18th. He was born in Silver Spring MD on April 4, 1967. He was a graduate of Glenbard West High School in 1985 and was employed by the Follet Software Company in McHenry Country as a corporate trainer. Clay enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He also was an avid football fan who supported the Chicago Bears for many years. He was also a loyal sports fan to the University of Michigan teams. He graduated from the University of New Mexico. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family, including his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother Nancy Sandoz; his brother John (Penny) Sandoz, his sister Jennifer (Bob) Wolfe; his nieces and nephew Paige, Michael, and Maddy Sandoz, and Anthony, Sam, John, and Adam Wolfe.

He was preceded in death by his father George A. Sandoz.

A memorial service will be held at the Glen Ellyn Covenant Church, 277 Hawthorne Street in Glen Ellyn on Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 am with Rev Rob Bloss officating. Memorials may be sent to The Ark Preschool c/o The Glen Ellyn Covenant Church 277 Hawthorne Street in Glen Ellyn 60137.
