Christine N. Suriano, age 85, a resident of Heritage Woods in South Elgin, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.  She was born July 11, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph & Blanche Busta.

Christine, more commonly known as Tina, loved her family with her whole heart. She would sleep in her clothes ready to jump up at a moment's notice anytime a pregnancy due date was coming up, just in case she needed to drive, as she would say. Tina started many traditions, including one of the families most loved, St. Germain Wisconsin. She would always wake up at the crack of dawn, even earlier than the morning group of fisherman, and that's pretty hard to beat. She loved Cathy's ice cream and would famously pass out $1 bills for every deer her grandchildren spotted. She was a die-hard Bears fan, and an even bigger fan of her grandchildren's school sports. Rain or shine Grandma Tina was always there with her chair and blankets ready. Her faith in the Lord inspired many of her family and friends to grow their own relationships in Christ, impacting generations to come. Tina was the bright light in the lives of everyone she interacted with. She loved cooking and has passed down many recipes that come around each holiday season. Everyone who knew Tina knew she was a woman your soul never forgot and therefore the memories will last forever.

She is survived by her children Christine Suriano & Joseph Suriano; her 11 grandchildren & her 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick; her sister Marilyn & her daughter Patrice Boenzi.

A visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10 a .m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
