Chase Froese, age 20, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died August 2, 2015, at Porter Beach in Chesterton, IN. She was born June 29, 1995 in Winfield, IL.

Chase was a 2013 graduate of Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, IL and a rising Junior at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, where she majored in philosophy and business.

Chase was a beautiful young woman who viewed the world through a studying eye. She embodied the idea of adventure, relationship and service. Loving those around her, she often honed in on each relational connection. She was what they call a "free spirit" who loved coffee and reading and nature and could not wait for her next adventure in the great outdoors with her friends and family.

Her faith in Christ was foundational to her life and her life theme was "Onward and Upward". This embodied the idea of living with an outward focus, and drinking up life to it's fullest, but with an Upward gaze as she walked life. We have said that we are 'different' now that she is gone. She would want that difference to be one where impact is made in the world, and adventures are taken. We would strive to live well, and live "Onward and upward."

She is survived by her parents, Beth and Greg Froese; her siblings, Jessica Lee Froese, Lane Barnhardt Froese, and Luke Alan Froese; and her grandmother, Janet Froese.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, David Brian Barnhardt; her maternal grandparents, David and Doris Barnhardt; and her paternal grandfather, Samuel Otto Froese.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Wheaton Bible Church , 27W500 North Ave, in West Chicago, IL, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
