Charles P. Smith's Obituary
Charles P. Smith, age 81, a resident of Wheaton, formerly of Ocala, Fl., died January 4, at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield. He was born on February 28, 1926 in Park Ridge, IL to Mervin and Elmira Smith.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of the Army Air Corps serving in World War II. He retired from CNA Insurance after 25 years. He enjoyed playing golf and going on fishing trips to Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Augusta, two daughters, Kim (Corey) Schraw, and Carrie Ann Smith. two grandchildren, Charles and Morgan Schraw. a brother, Mervin and a sister Jan and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
