Charlene D. Adams, age 63, a resident of Carol Stream, died Tuesday, February 1, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She was born September 19, 1941 in Chicago.
Charlene was a member of Medinah Baptist Church. She had been involved in the First Baptist Church of Wheaton Quilting Club. She enjoyed Amusement Parks and Video Games. She loved her family and especially treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Elbert; her four children, Stephanie (Greg) Herbert of Bolingbrook, Ruthe (Dan) Ledbetter of Carol Stream, Cindy (Greg) Ewing of Hawaii, and Elbert (Mitra) of Arizona; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Ardy Martin of California; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Marlene; her nephew, Butch Pidwell; and her mother, Ruthe Martin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, from 4-8 P.M. at Medinah Baptist Church, 900 Foster Ave., in Medinah, where a service will be held on Saturday, February 5, at 3:00 P.M. Interment is private.
