Catherine Williams' Obituary
A memorial service for Catherine E. Williams, age 92, will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at Warrenville Bible Chapel, Curtis and Woodland Ave. in Warrenville.
She was born on September 26, 1916 in Sidney, Ohio. Catherine was the first female executive at Shilito's Department Store in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she worked for almost 30 years. After she retired, she lived in McConnelsville, OH with dear friends Ralph and Ruth Pounds where she became an avid Scrabble player. In 2002 she moved to Wheaton, IL to live with her daughter.
She is survived by one daughter, Michaele Collyer of Wheaton, one son, Craig (Carol Keene) Williams of Columbus, OH, one grandson, Glen (April) Tepe, granddaughter-in-law, Teri Tepe Azzarello, 7 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Kyle, Emily, Lauren, Cassandra, Melissa, and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Scott Tepe.
