Catherine L. Strand's Obituary
Catherine L. Strand, age 89, a resident of Glen Ellyn and formerly of Milwaukee, WI, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Gottlieb Hospital in Melrose Park. She was born on March 4, 1921 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Cindy) Strand of Brookfield, WI, and Tim Strand of Glen Ellyn; three grandchildren, Cassie, and Jeff and Jenny Strand; two nieces, Randa of CA, and Georgia of Kansas City, MO; and other family, including Delores Cassidy of Genesee Depot, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Strand in 1999 and her sister, Mary Cassidy and her sister-in-law, Mary Pratt.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 4th, from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 10:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main, in Wheaton. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, in Genesee Depot, WI.
