Carolyn Eisenbeis

Carolyn Eisenbeis, age 88,  passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. Born on December 6, 1936, in Chicago, Carolyn grew up in the vibrant Lakeview neighborhood, where she cultivated lifelong memories and values rooted in love and family.

After graduating from high school, Carolyn met the love of her life, Joseph Eisenbeis, through mutual friends. The couple married on December 11, 1954, beginning a beautiful journey of love and devotion. Together, they raised three children in Chicago, with a brief but cherished time living in Wisconsin. Carolyn dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, creating a home filled with warmth, care, and countless joyful moments.

Carolyn found immense joy in family gatherings, whether it was a festive celebration, a lively card game, or a simple shared meal. Her culinary skills were admired, and her kitchen was often the heart of family get-togethers. She also enjoyed bowling and cherished the moments spent with her sister, Beverly, and extended family. Carolyn's life was a testament to the importance of connection, laughter, and love.

Carolyn is survived by her children, William (Sharon) Eisenbeis of Cary, IL, Nancy (Tom) Burgess of West Chicago, and Joseph Eisenbeis of Shoreline, WA; her seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and multiple nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph, her parents, her sister, Beverly, and her brother, Frank.

Family and friends are invited to honor Carolyn's life at a visitation on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton, IL. A brief service and time of sharing will follow at noon. Carolyn's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
