Carol J. Zemke's Obituary
Carol J. Zemke, age 83, a long time resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, September 27, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born January 24, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI.
Carol was a member of the Joy Group at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton.
She is survived by her three children, David (Frieda) of Maywood, Jeffery (Amy) of Valparaiso, IN, and Jean (Joseph) Babchak of Glen Ellyn; eight grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, David, Hannah, Noah, Ruth, Melissa, and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Mylah, Poppy, and Finn; one brother, Kenneth Krauser; and many other nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herman in 2004.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 0S510 Summit Dr., in Winfield, IL. Interment will follow at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Illinois.
