Carol Jean Yearian, age 88, a resident of Naperville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.  She was born May 26,1933 in DePere, Wisconsin to Peter and Agnes VanDeVen (nee Linskens).

Carol grew up in DePere where she graduated from Nicolet High School. She met her dreamboat, Robert W. Yearian, in Green Bay, WI and married him on April 25,1953.  They moved to Gary, Indiana where Bob worked for US Steel, and then to Chicago where she raised seven children, who loved her immensely.

She was a champion bowler in her early years and won many trophies in which she was immensely proud. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also ready at any given moment with dog treats for some of her furry friends. She loved playing cards with her siblings and friends. She was a social person who loved to go out to eat with family and friends. In recent years she kept her mind busy doing word search puzzles and having fun with the residents at Harbor Chase.

She is survived by her children, Greg (Grace) Yearian, Joel (Judy) Yearian, Roxanne (Richard) Lill, Mark (Allison) Yearian, Dana (Kathi) Yearian, and Lisa Servos, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her son, Kirk D. Yearian and 7 siblings.

Services will be held privately.
